"We cannot allow a man with such poor taste in sports to be allowed in our state," said Gretchen Whitmer, the governor of Michigan. "This is an insult to everything our state stands for, which is why I am making the final decision to prevent Joe Biden from being added to the ballot box.

Historically, tensions between Michigan and Ohio have always been high ever since the Toledo war of 1835-36, where Ohio lost and was forced to take Toledo from Michigan. And again in 1929, when then governor of Michigan said that the best thing to come out of Ohio was Cleveland.

Poles from across the state have come in with almost unanimous support for the ballot ban with many stating the anger with Biden over his support for Ohio State, with an approximate 99.99% approval rate of the ban.
